Pick the Perfect Date
Don’t choose a date too close to the expected due date as bubs can, and do, arrive early! The rule of thumb is to hold the baby shower 6-8 weeks before the due date, with the invites sent 4-6 weeks prior to the event itself to give guests enough notice to lock the special day in their diaries.
Choose a Colour Theme
If the gender has already been revealed then most people opt for a pink theme for a girl or blue for a baby boy. If the gender is still under wraps, neutral colours like yellow or orange are a safe choice or even keep it pure white for a classic neutral vibe.
